OK, just wondering anybody yet heard anything about a western release for either of these.

The months are beginning to tick by without no news, it's a little annoying.

Edit: Oops that should be Shadow Hearts 2.

Sony has a big E3 list up, and I don't recall seeing Wild Arms there anywhere :(

On the up side, I couldn't care less about those games :D

I also haven't heard anything about Shadow Hearts 2 for N. America. I am interested in that one :(

Since we're on this sort of topic, has anyone heard anything about Magna Carta? Wasn't N. America/Europe supposed to get this game?

Well, Wild Arms Function F or whatever has been out for a while. No plans to bring it to the US last I heard.

But then, that's what E-3 is for.

Seems a shame about Wild Arms. Good thing about Shadow Hearts 2 is that alot of the E3 lists haven't been announced yet anyone could pick it up.

Have Midway or Infogrames announced there's yet? as for Magna Carta haven't heard anything about a western released either!

Magna Carta is a few years old now, isn't it? I think we would have heard something by now. Not coming

There's a new version being made for the PS2. From what I know on Softmax's news page, Softmax is currenty seeking Korean beta testers for it, so maybe it's getting close to completion.

I'd imagine Wild Arms is more popular then Shadow Hearts. They probs look how they sell in Japan.

As for Shadow Hearts 2 I hoping UBI Soft or Atari pick it up I reckon that's the best bet.

Hi, I'm new here and I have a problem: I DON'T WHAT TO START MY FIRST REPLY/POST/TOPIC WITH! So, excuse me if I just pop up in topic or forum without knowing HOW to introduce myself.
Anyway, the new Wild Arms game HAS been confirmed for a US release. I read this from an Arabic Games forum I'm in.

Mustn't look at pictures, mustn't look at pictures or my want for this game will overload...

Why didn't Shadow Hearts 2 sell well in Japan? The first game was such an original, and it was an awesome game. I sincerely hope SH 2 does make it out here no matter how it sold in Japan.

I don't know about the final figures of Wild Arms and Shadow Hearts here in the US, but I disagree that Wild Arms was more popular. Sony spent a ton of money promoting that game, and hardly any on Shadow Hearts. But all the magazine, and anyone else who were lucky enough to have played it agreed that Shadow Hearts was the better game.

I know that Wild Arms Remake was more popular then Shadow Hearts II in Japan. As I said I'm not really sure what a company like Agetec does when looking for new games to publish.

But I would have thought they'd have a look at a Japanese sales where WA remake got No.1 and Shadow Hearts II was pretty far off the top spot.

I not sure what it's like in America but Shadow Hearts is a damn rare game (koudelka even more so) here in the UK were as WA3 can be found all over the place second-hand and new. :D

Ugh, that makes me nervous.
Midway's track record isn't exactly golden clad.

That's cool to know, even though Midway is a bit slow at localizing it. November is quite a while to wait. Then again, if Midway is anything lik Square-Enix, that's because they haven't even lifted a finger to work on localizing it yet.

Well they've probs just picked up the right, I guess SH must have sold pretty while if they picking up the sequel which is good to know.

Considering it's been a couple of months since it came out in Japan, I think it's more likely that they already had rights as a subsidiary of the same company that released it in Japan, but the marketing mercenaries put it on hold so they can watch Japanese sales first.

I wonder why SCEA passed on the release of Wild Arms Alter code F. Its a good looking game, that most havent played and since it would look like a brand new Wild Arms (okay ive played the original but i still want this game, speacilly cause...). This is worrying news though... does it mean SCEA also means to pass up the release of Another code F?
I wonder what SCEE will do though... wasnt it ubisoft that published Wild Arms 3 in EU?

Nem

Its confirmed. EU will see Shadow Hearts 2 by Midway.
Guess the first one sold well enough for them to go at it again!

Yeah SCEA did all the past three Wild Arms games in America, but SCEA have been acting like a bunch of fools in recent months. I guess as long as it's released that's all that matters.

As for EU SCEE did Wild Arms and UBI Soft did Wild ARMs 3. I doubt that SCEE will pick it up (though they surprised me with Arc The Lad). I reckon are best bet is either UBI Soft or Atari. But there's also Metro3D and Bigben Interactive that do alot of Agetec games in Europe.

So there's a few possiblity's hopefully one will come through. :)

Compared to some Japanese games we've got and are getting, Midway translates like lightning ;)
