View Full Version : Sam & Max cancelled
I just read on Gamespot.com (http://www.gamespot.com), Lucas Arts has cancelled the Sam and Max sequel. :donno:
A spokesperson of LA said that now is not the right time to release a grafic adventure on PC.
I was so looking forward to that one... :crying:
Lucas Arts only makes those crap Star Wars games nowadays! (well some were nice, but enough is enough)

Not the right time to release ana dventure game? More like, "we have our hands full with crappy movie tie-ins instead of using our resources in creating new and original experiences, like we used to".
Ah, no loss, fortunately a buncha spanish and european developers always have more than enough time to release decent adventure games that Lucascrap is no longer able to produce. :p

Games like Sam & Max got bored very quick I guess... I remember playing Myst, it's was awesome at first but after finishing it, it's totally unplayable coz there's no replay value.
btw took me only 4 days to finish Myst. 50 dollars to play a game for only 4 days.. not worth it.

And I thought Lucasarts was starting to return to their former selves with titles like Gladius... Gladius was one of the best RPGs I played this year. It was Lucasarts and NOT a starwars title. WOW.
sigh

They really needed this. Why would they cancel it, when so many people looked forward to it?
