Not to rain on your parade (yours, mine and like a godzillion other people's), but I hope this new "gadget on Mario's back" doesn't limit the gameplay--and the game itself--like Luigi's vacuum cleaner did, which had nice variety, but only so much. Or maybe it was the mansion; no, because look how many places the castle in SM64 could take you.

I believe that the little gadget will improve the gameplay the same way Mario Bros 3 costume did. Unlike Luigi mansion, this thing seem to tranform on diffirent situation

I'd rather have the costumes, though.

Although would a frog be appropriate to shoot water and slide around, etc.? Jumps- no problem there.. but everything might require a different costume. Add some more puzzles to the mix- choosing the right costumes would be critical..

Eh.. I just want my Mario 3 fix....
