Hudson opened the DreamMix TV World Fighters homepage, at http://www.worldfighters.com/ , the game with a mix of mascots from Konami, Hudson and Takara.

Can you name all those characters in the homepage?

The ones I saw were: Bomberman, Peachboy, Wolf from Bloody Roar, Castlevania guy, Pawafuru Baseball Boy, Beyblade guy, Transformer, Wonderboy from Adventure Island, and some girl from Dance Dance revolution.

Takara= Transformers (even better :))

Hmm... I believe one of the two flying people or both were from Contra! and the beyblade guy was Kai (thankfully) not that I would know...

So, is this a website for a game?

If it is count me in for one copy of the game.

There are some new images released for Dream Mix TV World Fighters. However the game doesn't seem very interesting, comparing to Super Smash Bros Melee, especially the graphics and the available characters.

In a normal world Optimus would be the best character in that game cause he could squish everyone with his huge foot!

they probably don't have like 100 people working on the game like nintendo does with super smash bros. melee. this looks like a play station 1 game.:o

100....10...1000 doesn't really matter if they have talent some of the smallest companies make the best games.

Anyhow looks Ok, looks mainly made for a japanese audience not a hugh surprise as Hudson are developing.

if 10 people work on final fantasys 10, etc, it would take 5 years to finished it. the more people they have, the more resources are available, the faster whiners gets a game.
and if i remember correctly, it did take about 100 peeps to put out ff10.
:annoyed:

And the end result did not really justify those 100 people. Maybe square should lay off some graphics artist and hire instead some story writers and game designers with skill.

Smash Melee is made by HAL, not Nintendo.
Try again.

some girl from Dance Dance revolution.

Uhm, if you're referring to the girl that's in the pink dress, that's not correct. Rika-chan (http://www.mainichi.co.jp/life/hobby/game/news/news/2001/11/13-4.html) is a doll in a Takara toy line (ie: Barbie).

Anyways, I really feel sorry for this game. I would have been interested if this game had maybe twice as many people, considering how many Konami franchises are 100% ignored for this title. Not to mention the fact that it pretty much looks like ass.

Even someone from DDR would have been a step in the right direction.

How about the dude in my avatar? He's a Konami character, believe it or not.

Or these four ladies?

It's like they're not even trying.

Thanks for the correction, I couldn't name that girl in pink dress, I thought she was from DDR or something.

I think DMTV will have more than 20 fighters, they have only showed a portion of them. I bet many more characters will be revealed soon. Let's see, I think these ones will be in the game as well:

- Heather from Silent Hill 3
- James from Silent Hill 2
- Solid Snake from MGS
- Heroes from Suikoden series
- Heroes from Tengai Makyou series
- Fighters from Toshiden series
- Heroes from Z.O.E.
