ps2 mode chip
hi ...i wanna ask about the ps2 mode chips ...what is the best nmode chip to use .....i want to know what it exactly do ,,,,,? and if it is easy to install ? thanks ...its importnat .,..chaw

Depends what you want it for.
If you want to play imports, youll want to grab the Messiah (or any one of its numeros clones) or the Origa (or its clone chips), as theya re the only ones so far that boot imports.
Messiah is probably the best choce as it requires no swaps to boot up games. Origa is second best with only one swap whatever you boot (except domestic originals whch boot normally).
However, both chips are extremely hard to install, so you had better find someone to do it for you or send your PS2 in to the shop for them to fit it for you.
I have been using the Origa chip since the beginning of the year and am damn happy with it. Boots Xenosaga like a dream :D
God knows I dont intend to sit around and wait a year for Square to Localize the FFX spinoffs. :p
