do you ever find yourself spending more time on the internet than you do watching tv? playing video games? 8) shooting the breeze?
i think the internet has severly cut down on the amount of time i spend playing video games. thank goodness for gba or i would go for weeks without even touching a videogame. thankfully the new zelda has me somewhat addicted but i'm still spending more time on the net that with videogames!
it hasn't really taken over my tv watching habits. i was only watching certain shows to begin with (mainly on the cartoon network) and i still do that despite the availability of the net.
what about u guys?

I do play less games now, but I sleep just as much. Just much later than before. :2happy:
...I usually just leave the TV on if I'm on my computer, I usually don't pay that much attention to it unless I'm really interested though.

In my case it certainly has taken over, my PC is on 24/7 downloading the TV shows I dont get here in Spain (or get with a year or two's delay).
The only thing I use my TV for is news broadcasts (despite being able to read all the news online, its always more comfortable to watch the 30-min video news broadcast) and playing videogames. And maybe when I rent the odd DVD.
Can go a few days without it.
Just use it to check movie news,game news ect ect. I don't realy use it alot for playing games, in that area console will always prevail over p.c for me.
The so call "internet hype" was over for me a few yrs ago. It's been a long time since I came online and just sit there and search for stuff I don't need to search for.
What I find funny is despite of having free game sites I still buy 1 game magazine. (PLAY)

No, im not a fat nerd with glasses..
for me the nets influence has gradually grown, but i really dont have that much time to be online... anyways i still manage to take a peak almost every day! But it really is a great great way to have access to content normally unavailable in the country we live!

If thats your life, I feel sorry for you... personally I never know what I'm going to do... but I sure as heck don't have sex everyday... shesh, it would get stale after a while.
Personally I do 5 things everyday, save on the weekend, Shower, Study, Eat, Play Games/Watch Anime/Read, Sleep, and Surf the net... I'm a multitasker so, I can watch TV, while playing games on the computer, or talk to my friend VIA IMs while I watch TV or.... oh you know...

I don't use dialup, so my internet is on all the time. I don't have cable right now, but with baseball season commin up, I fear that I soon will crack to get Fox Sports and ESPN....
Normally Cable takes up too much time for me...

Well, if u were smart enough, then u would know that that was only just a fast peek outta my usuall day..
I dont think everybody is waiting on my whole life during a week. Heck, its imposibble, theres too much i do..
And dont feel sorry for me, ur life probly sux more then mine anyway...

ANYWAYS, on to the topic.
I force myself to take breaks from the internet because it CAN take me over. Two weeks ago I went up in the mountains for a week, played table tennis, table soccer, basketball. The weather was GREAT and the sunshine was always there...no internet, no videogames, just pure LIFE for an entire week. It was nice....and needed...
