Everyone is treating Switch as a replacement of the 3DS portable, not the Wii U console. For me I haven't even used the Switch dock once, it's still in the box. :lol:

Super Mario Odyssey sales top one million in Japan, Switch tops 2.98 million


Total sales for Super Mario Odyssey have topped 1,055,806 in Japan since its October 27 release, not including download sales, according to the latest Famitsu sales numbers.

Switch hardware sales have reached 2,988,399 units in Japan since the hardware launched on March 3. The system sold 230,000 units last week.

For comparisonís sake, total Wii U sales in Japan are currently at 3.3 million. PlayStation 4, which launched in February 2014, is currently at 5.7 million sales.

But ofcourse they are because nintendo is marketing the console as such putting much more emphasis on taking the console everywhere, it will probably kill the 3ds and as if the new 3ds didn't have enough hardship or they just want to get rid of it.

I'll believe the later the moment they announce a remaster, port or remake of xenoblade chronicles.
