Kinda wish they would do that for Hellblade. I wanna buy it but I would prefer a physical copy of that one.

I like that game, but 42 dollars worth it is not.

While I think there are a some indie games that deserve to get in boxes that you can put in your shelves accumulating dust, I agree with the guy above that the price is a bit steep for what the game offers.

I wouldn't think of it after getting the game slashed less than half of it's price.

Since it's a UK version for American users it's going to seem expensive. That's not to bad a price in the UK for a game, soundtrack and artbook.

Just found out that you can get the game for cheaper from Base.

PS4 standard edition

PSVita signature edition

It is also on sale for very cheap on steam right now

It sent a chill down my spine after seeing this.

From what I heard is not all... that... bad....

But it' Bubsy and you know the horror of that chapter of dark history in videogames.

Looks like Disney Afternoon Collection will be getting a physical release. Josh Fairhurst of Limited Run Games dropped these clues on twitter:

Progressing on signing a huge PS4 title. People will tell tales of this one. It might even make some heads spin!

Tales as in DuckTales and heads spin/Talespin make it fairly obvious what it is.

Fuck Limited Run Scalpers.

I'm not fond of the "limited just to be limited" method either, but I'll take what I can get.

11-03-2017, 05:57 PM
I would like it more if they made more than just 3000 or so, 10k would be a really great number, but then perhaps they wouldn't even sell all of them then, only reason they sell out is cause of that small number so people make extra accounts and buy them all up before others can even buy them.

Some developers only agree to it though because it's only a small number. So it wont' effect the digital sales because the people buying are only the hardcore disc fans.

LRG tried unlimited pre-order runs a couple of times, most recently for Ys: Origins. From what they said it wasn't a great success. Unfortunately a large percentage of collectors only buy a game because it is limited and other people can't have it.

In other news Nicalis is doing an unlimited run of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap for PS4 and Switch. Good for those that missed out on LRG's release and didn't want to import the Asian version for PS4/Switch.

I am all over that because i missed it through LRG

same, I'm loving this, I was about to buy it on the eshop, but glad I didn't now.

Let's give this thread a chance.

Sonic Mania get's a physical release and adds a plus.

Sonic Mania Plus coming this summer with new characters, physical release

Sonic Mania Plus, an updated version of last yearís Sonic Mania, is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this summer, Sega announced at its Sonic the Hedgehog panel at South by Southwest today.

Sonic Mania Plus will include an all-new Encore Mode, Sega said, which offers new ways to explore each of the gameís acts and will come with some unspecified visual changes. The Plus version of the game will also include two new playable characters: Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel.

Mighty and Ray are relatively deep character cuts; the duo first appeared in SegaSonic the Hedgehog, a 1993 arcade game based on Sonic.

In addition to two new characters, Sonic Mania Plus will also expand the gameís competition mode to support up to four players.

Unlike the original Sonic Mania, which was only released digitally, Sonic Mania Plus will get a physical release. That release will feature deluxe packaging: a holographic slip cover and a reversible sleeve designed to mimic Sega Genesis/Mega Drive box. A 32-page art book will also be included as part of the package.

I'm so happy about that. I really wanted to play as mighty on Sonic mania.

Ray is a mystery though. Dunno what his special abilities will be. I'm guessing gliding like knuckles. We'll see.

Damn them, couldn't they have just done this with the CE of the game?

03-18-2018, 10:31 PM
Wouldn't be surprised if both turn out to be just reskins of Tails and Knuckles.

I played briefly Sonic Mania back when it was just released and I did really liked it but didn't get it because I forgot so this one turned to be another of those moments that rewards you for waiting (kind of).

That reverserd cover got me on board beacause of stupid nostalgia.
