Dragon Quest Builders coming to Switch in spring 2018


The original Dragon Quest Builders is coming to Switch in spring 2018, Square Enix announced.

The Switch version will allow players to ride a Great Sabrecub in the game’s Free Build mode. The Sabrecub boosts players’ speed and grants them special materials by defeating enemies.

Dragon Quest Builders is currentely for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. Its sequel, Dragon Quest Builders 2, is coming to both PlayStation 4 and Switch.



Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud announced for Switch

Sega announced Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud for Switch during today’s Japanese Nintendo Direct broadcast. It will launch in Japan in 2018 .

The Switch version of the free-to-play massively multiplayer online RPG, which is currently available across PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC in Japan, will not require game data to be downloaded. It is a cloud-based version of the game.

Of course PSO2 isn't going to be localized. Sega of Japan has given up on their overseas branches when it comes to handle big releases and much less when it involves free to play games.

I'm still not convinced in cloud gaming. Needs time to get perfect and it gets very random with everything it involves.

Hero class ruined the whole fucking game anyhow. I just want it to die and will cross my fingers for PSO3.
