Great, it's probably worthwhile to do HD port of Yakuza 3 & 4 as well?

Yakuza: Kiwami 2 for PS4 announcement leaked -- Yakuza 2 remade in the latest iteration of the Dragon Engine.

I'm surprised because Yakuza 2 is quite honestly a filler game. The story isn't very interesting.

But it had the club hostess with huge breasts and also you get to beat the crap out of a tiger. Just those two reasons merit a full remake.

Still hoping (naively might add) that they come up and announce the rumored hd remasters of shenmue from years ago.

There's a rumor that the game will be back with dual story line between Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, just like Yakuza 0, and the plot for Majima is brand new.

Yeah i heard that. It does make it more interesting.

So the story of Kiryu never ends, not until they finish remaking Yakuza 3 & 4.

Sega has announced Yakuza: Kiwami 2 for PlayStation 4. It will launch in Japan on December 7 at 7,590 yen for the standard edition and 11,590 yen for the limited edition.

The game, a remake of Yakuza 2, is built in the Dragon Engine used by Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, and features an additional “Truth of Majima Goro” scenario in which Majima Goro is playable, a large number of never before told stories, and completely new voice actor castings, including Hakuryu as Ryo Takashima, Susumu Terajima as Jiro Kawara, Houka Kinoshita as Wataru Kurahashi, and Yuichi Kimura as Tsutomu Bessho. Japanese alternative metal band SiM will handle the theme song.

Would be nice if Y5 got a physical release.
