For starters, here's my library of Wii U games:

That's 12.5 games (I count the included extra Star Fox game as half a game). Also, in my mind, the two Zelda HD versions are the definitive versions of their respective games. Also, a great deal of these games run at 60fps!

Really, even though the console has been super maligned throughout it's life (mostly due to Nintendo themselves), this is a damn good lineup.
Right now I have 8 PS4 games (The Last of Us, Uncharted 4, The Uncharted Collection, MLB: The Show 2016, The Order, Until Dawn) and I will probably be getting Horizon eventually.

I must say, right now, I like my Wii U lineup a lot more than what I'm getting out of PS4!

Good night sweet prince, it's a shame Nintendo screwed you...you were actually a real good console.

The funny thing is, I am too. Bloodborne and Dark souls 3 are the only real games that I put a lot of time into, others were just finished and done.

Nintendo did bring out a lot of fun games for the wii u, more than they did for the Wii.
But, their forced controls on people that really really sucked ass is what makes me hate it.
If they just made it that the game pad was optional for everything the system could do, except for a few games that are made for it, I think it would have done better. I liked it for the games that let me use it as a 2nd screen, but not for using the screen for touch screen crap.
That works fine on the DS/3ds, cause both screens are still right in your face, but with the TV to controller, fuck, my neck hurts.

But, when I look at the games I got for the wii and wii u, I am still surprised that I have over 30-40+ games on each of them.

Hopefully, they get the switch right, so far, it is a good system, Snipperclips is beyond fun with people.... and surprisingly, 1 2 switch is a really fun party game, just cause it makes everyone act like fools.
I got it to play with the kids cause I know they would get a kick out of it, but most adults I know love it too when I showed it to them.
My mom got freaked out by the HD rumble, she thought a mouse was inside the controller! lol crazy greek woman.

The only system I regret buying is the first Xbox, completely pointless to own if you have a PS2/GC already. Main reason I said fuck it to the 360 and Xbone. All their best exclusives came out on PC anyways.

Xbox was the first home console to do online right so it was a great buy for me. Also it was supper easy to mod and have some fun with it like that.

I'm still considering trying to find a WiiU. I'd love the Bayonetta games in particular.

Where's Xenoblade X? :O

I don't regret buying the Wii U. Theres are some games that were worth it.

But, i didn't like Nintendo dropping it after 4 years when they did what ammounts to 2 years of support, since the first year was almost empty and the last year was the same.

All this to make a new system wich will have the same exact problems? That makes me feel cheated. Yes, because there will be a sucessor to the 3DS, don't fool yourselve. Either that or Nintendo will be in an even bigger shit hole. The sales of the switch do not equal Wii U+3DS. They equal only one of those.

They should have held on to the Wii U and should've prepared for the next console cycle to come out with a system that is on par with the competition in performance. Because if they do that and get proper 3rd party support added to their first party, they have a big shot at beeing great again.

Instead they continue on this path of half assed systems. Why are they making consoles anymore if they only deliver gimmicks or under powered systems at a high price? The Wii U didnt drop price till this day (comparatively to the competition). The Switch will hardly drop price aswell because of that screen.
None of this is gonna to bring Nintendo back from the hole they dug themselves in. That is what annoys me in this whole Wii U thing and the Switch. It solves nothing.

The only game I liked on it that was online was Dead or Alive 2 ultimate.

The rest, like MechAssault, halo 2, meh, didn't excite me to play them online.

and oh yah, fuck match making.

I never regret buying consoles. I do often regret buying portable systems, though. To me portable systems are downright painful (physically) to play and I hate the tiny-ass screens.

I'm with Joe. I've never regretted any console purchase. The portables I can't say the same about.

While I can't deny the WiiU has been very disappointing. I don't regret buying it, I have never regretted buying a console or handheld. The WiiU has some decent exclusives Bayonetta 2, Project Zero V, Zelda HDs, Xenoblade, Pikmin 4 make it worthwhile to me.

That said I've never owned a 3DO or N-gage either.

I kind of regret buying a second PS3, my original PS3 works fine but it gets really hot after a while so I bought a PS3 slim, which I only used for a few games.

I have a 3DO, only game I really played a lot on it was Need for Speed.

Ngage tho.... oh god, so horrible, you had to take out the battery every time you wanted to change the game and it died really fast and had massive slow downs, there is a reason it failed really bad.

Actually I've never owned one. But the Nomad is cool because you can hook it up to a TV... even in RGB. That would be cool if there were a portable system that could "dock" to a TV like the Nomad could.

Never had a Nomad either. I always thing the Nintendo handhelds are going to be awesome and have had one since the Gameboys came out,but I can never seem to get comfortable after playing on them for any amount of time. My PSP is my new favorite since I can play PS1 games on it without them lookin like shit on HD tvs now a days. No buyer's remorse there.

I bought every handheld, I still play my game gear and Atari lynx lol

But the nomad was awesome, we loved it cause it had a port for another controller so you could still play 2 players games. Can never have enough of Genesis games!

For a while, I misplaced the battery pack to nomad and always had to plug it in to play it, those were dark days, cause I had to play inside instead of outside! I need my sun!
