1) Just in: Nintendo president Kimishima tells the Nikkei Switch's online service will be priced at 2-3,000 yen ($17.50 - $26.50) *YEARLY*.
2) Kimishima says the yearly fees make it easier for Nintendo to support online features such as multiplayer or downloads of classic games.

If true, I don't find that as bad cause PS+ up here is 69.99, ugh.

The best thing I hope to come out of this is PSN lowering their price to compete. But that won't happen because Nintendo's online service will suck balls and not have the same "frills" as PSN.

The monthly free game will be totally worth the prize.

Psn and xboxlive won't stand a chance with their multiple free games and discounts. They are doomed.

it makes me wonder if they might have packages since he gave a price range and not a actual price.

Which I would love if they did. I don't care to get free VC games on it, so if I can save 10 dollars off of the price to not get them, I probably will.
