That proves Nintendo really need to launch NX this year or otherwise .....

PSN - $4.3 billion
Nintendo (Software+Hardware+DLC) - $4.7 billion
Steam - $3.5 billion

FUN FACT OF THE DAY:

Sony generated $4.3b from Network Sales alone (PSN) in calendar year 2015.
Nintendo generated $4.7b from EVERYTHING.

To Clarify: Sales from PSN for Sony are almost as big as Nintendo Software + Hardware + Network combined

PS Plus is working + more DL sales[/b]

This chart shows how PSN is changing quarterly.

I don't know why people buy games over the PSN when ALL of the good ones usually go for free around after a year on PS+

I stopped buying PSN games cause of that.

I got strider for free still over pSN cause of the 10 dollars they gave out with the system... then 3 months later it was up for free. BAH! Could have used that cash on something else.... like getting the PS+ cheaper

Where is this coming from and why are we assuming this is fact? I'm pretty sure Nintendo doesn't release their numbers.

They release financial report to shareholders every quarter, such as this one: https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/library/annual/

I see.

I have to agree. Nintendo's team have never even used PSN or Xbox Live. So they have little understanding about what pros make these services great. Unless they start using competitor products to figure out how to learn from it, the NX isn't going to have a online structure to compete with these giants.
