Looks interesting, but it maybe too greasy? :)

KFC Turns Pizza Crust Into...Chicken

If chicken can double for hamburger and hot dog buns, then surely, it will work as pizza crust. What could go wrong?

In the Philippines, KFC is rolling out what itís calling, wait for it, Chizza. Geddit? Heh.

So far, this doesnít appear to be available elsewhere. But before you think that might be for the best, TAY seems to like it okay, calling it ďsurprisingly good.Ē Read the full review right here (http://tay.kinja.com/kfc-chizza-the-snacktayku-review-1717192375#_ga=1.107016203.869625540.1428595316).

Is pizza the latest casualty in the Colonelís war against bread or has it found new life?

Once, in an act of pure human decadence, mankind twisted one of The Colonelís great gifts, the Double Down, and turned it into The Double Down Dog, Destroyer of Worlds. Still, as mankind has always known, The Colonel forgives all. This time, his forgiveness comes in the form of the KFC Chizza.
What Is It?

The Chizza is a small pizza with chicken for bread. Let that sink in. Itís as sinful as you can imagine.

In contrast to the Double Down Dogís atrocious chicken, the chicken here is tender and moist. Itís pretty good! The downside to this tenderness is the chicken crustís propensity for breaking apart as you shove it down your food hole. Keeping the toppings on top of the chicken and the chicken intact as you lift it up is a veritable task. Chicken wasnít meant to hold pizza toppings but the Colonel obviously doesnít care.
The Pizza Toppings

Tomato sauce, bell pepper, cheese. Thatís pretty much it. Imagine that on top of a chicken and thatís exactly how it tastes. I guess it has pineapples too but I didnít really notice them much.

The Verdict

The Chizza, for such an absurd conceit, is surprisingly mundane. Itís also surprisingly good. I wanted it to be bad just so I could write a snarky article but, as we all know, The Colonel can do no wrong.

Hell yes! I'd be all over that. I wish the UK fast food joints were more creative but the staff wouldn't be able to cope.
