I did this a few years ago, benchmarking a 560 Ti against my newer 670. Well I did the same between my 670 and my new 980.

Here are the settings I used for the following games:
Metro Last Light (http://i.imgur.com/W8xeSDW.png)
Shadow of Mordor (http://imgur.com/a/V8z7f)
Dragon Age: Inquisition (http://imgur.com/a/NVJzS)

For each game, I used their in-game benchmark tool. So this is less of a 'real world' test and more of a test to compare the 670 directly to the 980 to see how much of a difference it makes.

I also tried to benchmark Arkham City but I did the 670 with CSAA on and CSAA was replaced with MFAA in the 980. So I can't use those numbers.

Then those sweet sweet results.

So yeah, nearly a 2x bump in all games. Pretty happy. Too bad Witcher 3 got delayed. But I'm ready for the next set of games!
