Too many fucking places selling too many awesome games! Putting them all here from now on to save myself making 7 million threads.

Worms Reloaded for $4.98, or a little over $6 for the game with DLC pack. Steam copy this one. Excellent Worms game.

Thief package for $6.74... If you've never played Thief 2, move your useless arse! There are some texture mods out there to improve the look. But Thief 2 is one of the best games ever made.

Disciples 2 sale for $1.99!!!! Comes with the gold edition of the game and the 3 expansion packs. Awesome sale for an awesome game.

Picked up Worms Releoded. I already own Worms United, but this is the better version.

Got the others a long time ago as well. I missed the Worms experience on the DC back when it was recommended to me. Lemmings was also very fun growing up, so I'm happy to own Reloaded.

08-07-2012, 11:42 PM
legally or illegally? geez...

08-08-2012, 12:07 AM
Thief 2 is a superb game, you guys really are missing out by not playing it. I'm sure you could find a way to get it free Spider.

08-08-2012, 12:12 AM
that's the plan! I'm very patient so I can wait!

Playing Q.U.B.E. Right now, which is pretty cool for a portal rip off game.

08-08-2012, 04:51 AM
I originally had it pirated. Completed and loved it, bought it later so it could be in my collection. Its the only real stealth game ever made in my opinion.

08-08-2012, 04:25 PM
If anyones after the new Hitman game where you can kill nuns, you can get a pretty sexy discount on GreenmanGaming for a steam copy for $34.65. Just use the following voucher code

The sales at Greenmangaming have been excellent this year. I mean, its almost insane to purchase one of these titles for full price. Consoles get their price reduction, but if you're not trading in all your games. The internet is the best source.

I picked up Borderlands 2 for $40, and I had picked up the original up at full price with a gift card.

Plus getting Darksiders 2 cheaper then I got Borderlands 2 was good.

08-08-2012, 08:32 PM
there was a darksiders 2 sale at greenman?

08-08-2012, 08:34 PM
I used this one.

Its good up until the 10th. It will make it $37.50.

08-08-2012, 08:42 PM
thanks dude!

08-08-2012, 08:45 PM
actually found this:

25% off Darksiders II with coupon code “DARKS-DERVC-HER11″ today.

08-08-2012, 09:27 PM
I knew there was a code for it as itself, considering they both probably run out on the 10th. The more I saw about the appearance of the UI and customization the better it looked. I'm wondering if you picked it up.

08-09-2012, 04:04 AM
Greenman is awesome

08-09-2012, 04:43 AM
LOL, there download version is more expensive then there PC retail version.

08-10-2012, 07:55 AM
If you're up for some old games, GoG has some specials at $2.99 including the old Alien Breed.

Steam version of FEAR 3 for $3.84 if you're interested. I ignored it despite loving the first game. The next two were just not what I was wanting in a sequel.

If you're still after Just Cause 2, steam version for $3.74

08-10-2012, 10:11 AM
is FEAR3 more action than scares?

08-10-2012, 11:34 AM
Its been consolized to death so yes, all action.

08-10-2012, 12:08 PM
probably still worth the $4 asking price then

08-10-2012, 12:35 PM
Sure, if theres nothing else to play, which there always is.

08-10-2012, 03:58 PM
Its been consolized to death so yes, all action.

The bigger problem is it's not made by Monolith so it was never going to be that good. There are still some horror elements in the game about the same as FEAR2.

08-10-2012, 04:08 PM
Out of that GOG sale I already owned Cossacks, Worms United, and Superfrog. Cossacks is a decent RTS which feels like AoE. Superfrog is a generic platformer, and if you want a good Worms title, I'd suggest looking into a newer one because even though its good the latter in the series are much much better.

After picking up Fear 3 off of Steam I'd have to say it isn't bad. The story is somewhere out there in terms of enjoyment or interest (its very saturated in this relationship bond and its just meh). But the gameplay is pretty good.

Just Cause 2 is pretty good too. Even though the combat can get old, zipping onto just about anything and sky diving is a lot of fun.

08-10-2012, 05:42 PM
The bigger problem is it's not made by Monolith so it was never going to be that good. There are still some horror elements in the game about the same as FEAR2.

Yeah, but they made 2, which was basically a redoing of the first title with a few extras for the console gamers since they'd never played the first title and never would. From there it went down hill.

08-11-2012, 06:15 AM
Yeah, but they made 2, which was basically a redoing of the first title with a few extras for the console gamers since they'd never played the first title and never would. From there it went down hill.

All three FEAR games and the two expansion packs are all on the XB360.

08-11-2012, 11:48 AM
Yes but it was released a year AFTER the pc version, ie ignored by 99% of console gamers because it was considered an old game thats from PC where spitspit there are no games. Pretty sure they had stats and stuff on how many people played it on the 360 or they wouldnt of felt the need to make lots of the second game a retelling of the first game to ease new players into it, as thats the reason they gave for why it was like that.

08-11-2012, 12:28 PM
Well they still bothered releasing the two expansion packs between FEAR and FEAR 2 so it can't have sold to badly or they wouldn't have bothered. Besides I wouldn't exactly call FEAR 2 a retelling both FEAR 1 and FEAR 2 stories are wrapped up in FEAR 3.

08-11-2012, 12:36 PM
I actually only played the first expansion pack and then ignored the series after that. Any profit is good profit, and thats what they'd get from a game already made. So releasing it on the system where gamers mostly play fps stuff was a normal move. Its a real shame more of them played 2 over 1.

08-11-2012, 04:00 PM
The Perseus Mandate Files felt more like low budget expansion packs. I felt like the core development was on the main series. I remember when it came out and picking it up for 360.
You can even watch a little bit of the play through and see for yourself. Everything from the texture to objects ingame feel under par to the main series.

08-12-2012, 10:46 AM

08-13-2012, 05:09 AM
GamersGate has gone crazy crazy crazy! Shitload of their games are anywhere from 40% to 75% off. Some awesome deals.

Company of Heroes pack, game with both expansions, $3.02

X Superbox for $7.49.. Awesome space sim game that will leech about 4 million hours of your life.

The Guild complete collection. Both games including 3 expansion packs $7.50

X-Com pack, all 5 old school game goodness. $5.08

King Arthur collection $8.98. If you enjoy the Total War games then you should enjoy this. Steam copy too.

The Experiment 112, $2.49.. Adventure game very different from the usual offering.

Theres lots more but go roam the site for games you are interested in and check the prices.

Another place called GetGames, if you're after the more recent Civilization 5, they have it for $8.99, steam copy also.

08-13-2012, 01:34 PM
That's a lot of deals. Anyone who doesn't have Company of Heroes by now just hates good games, really. $3 for it all is ridiculously good.

08-14-2012, 07:43 AM
Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI $6.78 deal. Go for it you little slags!

08-15-2012, 08:21 AM
If anyones after Snoresiders.. I mean Darksiders 2 Limited Edition, its $38.99, steam copy also.

Also Greed: Black Border is FREE

08-15-2012, 03:21 PM
I wouldn't call it snoresiders, maybe when GOWA releases. It has a few good things going for it.. characters, artstyle, music, and atmosphere. They may seem like much, but there are also a few things that make it a tad meh like it doesn't change creature types a lot, but that doesn't really matter so much because there are nice boss battles. And it feels like a darker Zelda title tbh.
Here is a screenshot I took of a place that I thought looked real coo from afar while riding on the horse.

08-15-2012, 03:49 PM
That's one mighty fine horse.

08-15-2012, 03:55 PM
That's his horse. The horse is dead from what I gather, so it appears and reappears on the fly by pushing both bumpers, but only on the world map. I realized a lot of the art like icons and such look like they were directly taken from Warcraft. Yet it has no relation, just the artist Joe Madureira who worked on the Uncanny X-Men comic book.

I read where the console version (mainly PS3) has some glitching, yet I have not experienced a single glitch with the PC version.

I hit a great many bugs during Darksiders II. Some were cosmetic, some could be worked around, and some halted my gameplay entirely. I got stuck inside of objects and walls more than once, I encountered a couple of system-freezing hard crashes, and I repeatedly faced issues where my quicksave and fast travel abilities disabled themselves during normal play, and I had to quit and restart to bring them back. I also encountered several larger issues.

08-15-2012, 05:16 PM
GMG having some awesome deals at the moment. A couple caught my eye.

Imperium Romanum: Gold Edition for $1.99, includes the expansion pack. I remember playing this a while back, enjoyable city building. And for $2 its a steal. I'm grabbing it again simply because I never played the expansion. Plus they added stuff and improved the graphics some etc.

Disciples 2 + 3 expansions. Posted this one before, but its $1.99 also.

Using the voucher code PCGMR-GREEN-SUMMR will get it down to $1.60 loollol

08-16-2012, 03:11 PM
Whats that? BOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!

Sleeping dogs $37.44 steam copy sale! Suck shit xbox! Better graphics and cheaper!

08-16-2012, 03:41 PM
That is 6 cents less then what I paid from GMG. I haven't started it yet, but I'm glad I got it. I couldn't imagine paying $22.55 more for the console version.

08-16-2012, 07:09 PM
its $44.99 at GMG... ?

08-17-2012, 05:52 AM
Civ 5 is up for $7.49, steam copy

10-06-2012, 02:27 AM
25% off All Titles, good till the 8th.

10-14-2012, 08:48 AM
Currently unavailable
We don't know when or if this item will be available again.

10-14-2012, 10:51 AM
Its strange how they just can't regenerate PC codes for digital bundles. It would be an interesting thing to know. If those places are given a specific number and are required to request more.

10-14-2012, 12:49 PM
It's back up!

10-14-2012, 06:32 PM
damnit, wtf, only for US costumers only!

10-14-2012, 07:26 PM
Make a fake US account! You get steam keys for everything regardless.

10-14-2012, 08:33 PM
that would require me knowing Zip codes and addresses, I already tried. It actually checks if it's real or not!

10-14-2012, 08:40 PM
Yeah, same here. US only. :(

10-14-2012, 09:01 PM
You could get a person in the US to get the codes from them, because typically they just give you Steam/Origin codes. Rarely outside from 1C games (King's Bounty), do they not give steam/origin codes.

10-14-2012, 09:42 PM
that would require me knowing Zip codes and addresses, I already tried. It actually checks if it's real or not!

Just google the address of a Pizza Hut in the US haha.

10-19-2012, 10:10 AM
g.o.g. has a "pay what you want" sale on interplay. some good titles in there.

10-30-2012, 04:09 AM
Steam Halloween sale, I'm sure you all know about it. Some good stuff in there including The Walking Dead for $14.99.

10-30-2012, 05:37 AM

10-30-2012, 05:47 AM
is that a hint of what you're going to be buying me?!

Drunken Savior
10-30-2012, 01:10 PM

So far I bought Walking Dead for a friend and Limbo for myself. Anyone wanna buy me XCOM? :D
