I think Sega/Microsoft screwed up with this limited edition Panzer 'box. Microsoft could've used this promotion in order to get a significant user base boost (well, significant as far as Japan goes). They could've done a pre-order drive to gauge the demand, and made enough to fill all the preorders and then some. I bet they could've sold 10 000 easily. The danger lies in making too much, and losing the "limited edition" part, but that's what analysts are for :)

That's way too high though. I've seen them sold on Japanese auction sites for the equvalent of $450. I'd wager at least half the 1049 systems sold were sold to people who just wanted to wait awhile and sell them online for a huge profit. If it were me, I'd be playing the damn thing. :cool guy:
