I love me my adventure games!

Leading Publisher Lighthouse Interactive and dtp Entertainment AG, today announced a firm North American release date for their highly anticipated psychological thriller Adventure game, Overclocked: A History of Violence. This PC DVD-ROM game will begin shipping to major retail stores in Canada and the U.S. on March 31, 2008. Created by award-winning developer House of Tales Entertainment, Overclocked explores an archetypical, yet actual condition of mankind: violence. Players will become engrossed in a world where memories and illusions; dreams and reality; perpetrators and victims… collide. Overclocked: A History of Violence is Windows Vista™ compatible.

Erik Schreuder, CEO Lighthouse Interactive said, “The Adventure community has been anxiously awaiting the North American release of Overclocked. House of Tales is known for their strong characters and thought provoking plots, and Overclocked is an exceptional example of their talents. Players will take on the role of six different characters throughout the game. This innovative approach, combined with chronologically inverse storytelling, will give players the immersive experience they’ve been waiting for.” Schreuder went on to say, “We are very proud to be bringing this high quality Adventure game to market, which further expands our North American product line-up.

Ill buy The Abbey and Vampire: Origins (both adventure games) once they come out. The first one for its terrific art and the latter for its setting.

Im downloading the demo of Jack Keane (another adventure game) right now. Swashbuckling tale + nice goofy comic graphics + point&click adventure game is definitely worth a try for me.
