Wow, that's really sad... And his family... :(

06-25-2007, 08:26 PM
Yeah his wife used to be in wrestling her name was "Woman" also went by "Nancy" Benoit took her from another wrestler named Kevin Sullivan (really happened, not a wrestling story) and they had a wrestling feud and they were really fighting during their matches. I would have to think that guy would be a suspect. But I'm only speculating.

According to lead investigator Lt. Tommy Pope, of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, in Fayetteville, Ga., the deaths of WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, wife Nancy and son Daniel were the result of a double murder-suicide, WWE.com has learned.

Benoit failed to appear both at Saturday’s live event in Beaumont, Tx., and WWE’s Vengeance: Night of Champions in Houston Sunday night, after informing WWE of a family emergency. Several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning prompted concerned friends to alert Richard Hering, VP of Government Relations for WWE, Inc. Hering, in turn, spoke with Fayette County sheriffs Monday, and requested that they respond to the Benoit residence to check on him and his family.

Authorities representing the Sheriff’s Department initially had a difficult time entering Benoit’s new Fayetteville home Monday afternoon, which had been guarded by two large German Shepherds roaming freely around the property. Once authorities entered the residence, they quickly located the bodies of Benoit, Nancy and Daniel. WWE was notified of the discovery at approximately 4 p.m.

At 10 p.m. Monday night, Lt. Pope held a press conference in conjunction with Scott Ballard, the district attorney for Fayette County. The press conference officially ruled authorities’ findings as a double murder-suicide from within the home.

WAGA, a FOX-owned and operated television station in Atlanta, reported that investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and 7-year-old son over the weekend, then himself on Monday.

The three bodies have been received by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s crime lab, in Decatur, Ga., where autopsies will be performed Tuesday morning. Toxicology reports will not become available for at least two weeks.

WWE.com has further information relating to both the investigation and the cause of death, but the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department has requested that WWE.com not release any additional details at this time.

06-26-2007, 10:00 AM
Yeah you're right. There's speculation out there that it still could be a triple homicide or his wife could of killed their son and then he killed her then himself. We should wait until the facts are given.

TMZ has learned more about the deaths of WWE wrestling superstar Chris Benoit, his wife and son -- and the information is extremely disturbing.

Several Atlanta-based law enforcement sources have told TMZ Benoit may have strangled his wife on Saturday, then smothered his son in his bed a day later. Investigators refuse to officially comment, pending final confirmation by the coroner on the cause and time of the deaths.

One source told TMZ that Benoit was texting friends during Sunday's WWE "Vengeance" Pay-Per-View program -- possibly watching the show with his son, who may have been alive at the time.

According to sources, Benoit then hanged himself Monday in a weight room inside the family home.

A police investigation is ongoing.

thats sick...

Apparently his wife filed for divorce in 2003, and at the same time requested a restraining order against Benoit because he was physically abusive. She dropped both requests three months later.

Probably she was going to leave him and take the kid, and he couldn't handle the loss. There's no excuse for what he did, but apparently he thought this was his only way out. I was reading an article about familicide, and men tend kill their families when they believe they've failed them.

Press conference is on CNN now

Anabolic steroids and legal medications were found
Motive not being discussed at this time.

Unrelated to the press conference WWE.com is removing all information of Benoit.

Humans are so unpredictable..

Steroids makes perfect sense why he went that nuts.
But he could also have been nuts to begin with also. Drugs just made him do it without caring.

This is off WWE.com

World Wrestling Entertainment is stunned and saddened by the details released by local authorities concerning the double homicide-suicide involving Chris Benoit, his wife, Nancy, and his son, Daniel.

However, WWE is concerned with the sensationalistic reporting and speculation being undertaken by some members of the media following the press conference held by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department and the District Attorney. During the press conference, the investigating authorities made the following points, all of which run contrary to the media speculation that "roid rage" was a factor in the senseless murders and suicide:

1. The authorities stated that all drugs found in the house were believed to be legal prescriptions.

2. Steroids were not, and could not, be related to the cause of death (asphyxiation). Authorities had no factual basis to speculate as to Benoit’s state of mind, and rightly did not do so.

3. Toxicology tests have not even been completed, so there is no current evidence that Benoit even had steroids or any other substance in his body. In that regard, on the last test done on Benoit by WWE's independently administered drug testing program, done on April 10, 2007, Benoit tested negative.

4. The physical findings announced by authorities indicate deliberation, not rage. The wife's feet and hands were bound and she was asphyxiated, not beaten to death. By the account of the authorities, there were substantial periods of time between the death of the wife and the death of the son, again suggesting deliberate thought, not rage. The presence of a Bible by each is also not an act of rage.

5. WWE strongly suggests that it is entirely wrong for speculators to suggest that steroids had anything to do with these senseless acts, especially when the authorities plainly stated there is no evidence that Benoit had steroids in his body, pending the toxicological reports, and that they had no evidence at this time as to the motive for these acts.

WWE is continuing to monitor the ongoing investigation being conducted by local authorities.

And i got this off lordsofpain.net- basically saying the same thing but i decided to post it anyway.
Notes from the press conference to address the Benoit double homicide-suicide:

Lt. Tommy Pope:

-- The Sheriff's Department received a call for a welfare check (from WWE) at 2:30PM on Monday. While searching the house, they discovered the three bodies.

-- Based on the investigation, they are ruling it as a double homicide-suicide. Evidence leads them to believe that Chris Benoit, likely on Friday, murdered his wife by asphyxiation. Sometime after that (probably Saturday morning), he did the same to his son. Then, sometime late Saturday or Sunday, he committed suicide by hanging.

-- There was no suicide note located within the house.

-- To his knowledge, Benoit was never arrested for domestic violence.

-- There were a lot of prescription medications discovered; they were apparently legal prescriptions. Anabolic steroids were among the substances discovered, but Lt. Pope did not reveal specifics.

-- He text messaged a coworker; the coworker received the message several hours after it was sent. It apparently contained something curious.

-- According to preliminary estimates, he killed himself several hours, but no more than a day, after killing his son.

DA Scott Ballard:

-- His "bizarre" comment refers to the timing of the various deaths. Based on the investigation, some time elapsed between each death.

-- There was a Bible placed beside the bodies of his victims (Nancy and Daniel).

-- There were no signs of a struggle; the wife was bound on her feet and on her wrists. There was some blood under her head.

-- Authorities have no idea about the motive.

-- There was no 911 call.

-- Benoit hanged himself with the cord from a cable-loaded weight machine.

-- There is no evidence of an intruder.

I never saw this coming, it was so sudden.

One more thing, is it true WWE stopped the McMahon is dead storyline because of this, or is it still going?

McMahon storyline has officially been scrapped because of this.

The intro to ECW was interesting. WWE seem to be washing their hands of Beniot now that the facts are out.

06-26-2007, 11:17 PM
And here we always thought he was the good guy. Damn nut case that was... he was better off just hanging himself and dieing a decent death.
You have to be incredibly mental to kill your own son that you got into this world without even asking him.

06-26-2007, 11:26 PM
FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -- Pro wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife, suffocated his 7-year-old son and placed a Bible next to their bodies before hanging himself with the pulley of a weight machine, authorities said Tuesday.

Investigators found prescription anabolic steroids in the house and want to know whether the muscle man nicknamed "The Canadian Crippler" was unhinged by the bodybuilding drugs, which can cause paranoia, depression and explosive outbursts known as "roid rage."

Authorities are investigating whether steroids may have been a factor in the deaths of Chris Benoit, above, his wife and child.

Authorities offered no motive for the killings, which were spread out over a weekend, and would not discuss Benoit's state of mind. No suicide note was found.

"In a community like this it's bizarre to have a murder-suicide, especially involving the death of a 7-year-old," District Attorney Scott Ballard said. "I don't think we'll ever be able to wrap our minds around this."

In an interview with ESPN.com on Tuesday, Ballard indicated that the boy had needle marks in his arms. The district attorney said he believed that the boy had been given growth hormones for some time because the family considered him undersized.

That was only one of the strange facts that Ballard revealed. He said that two text messages of note caused authorities to investigate the house. In one, Benoit told somebody he knew that his wife and son were sick.

"Of course, they were dead," Ballard told ESPN.com.

In a second message to a neighbor, Benoit said that the door of the house was open and the pets were outside.

"And our assumption is that that was an effort to try and get somebody to come find the bodies after the suicide," Ballard said. "That is our assumption."

The Montreal-born Benoit was one of the stars of the World Wrestling Entertainment circuit and was known for his wholesome family man image. His wife, Nancy, was a wrestling stage manager who worked under the name "Woman." They met and fell in love when their wrestling story lines intertwined.

When he won the world heavyweight championship in 2004, Benoit (pronounced ben-WAH) hoisted the belt over his head and invited his wife and child into the ring to celebrate. Asked by the Calgary Sun that same year to name his worst vice: Benoit replied: "Quality time with my family is a big vice. It's something I'll fight for and crave."

Nevertheless, Nancy Benoit filed for a divorce in 2003, saying the couple's three-year marriage was irrevocably broken and alleging "cruel treatment."

She later dropped the complaint, as well as a request for a restraining order in which she charged that the 5-foot-10, 220-pound Benoit had threatened her and had broken furniture in their home.

In the divorce filing, she said Benoit made more than $500,000 a year as a professional wrestler and asked for permanent custody of Daniel and child support. In his response, Benoit sought joint custody.

The bodies were found Monday afternoon in three rooms of the house, off a gravel road.

Ballard said that Benoit's wife, 43, was killed Friday in an upstairs family room, her feet and wrists were bound and there was blood under her head, indicating a possible struggle. Ballard told ESPN.com that it appeared that she had been pinned to the floor and asphyxiated with some sort of cable.

The son, Daniel, was probably killed late Saturday or early Sunday, the body found in his bed, Ballard said. The district attorney indicated that he had been choked to death.

Benoit, 40, apparently killed himself several hours and as long as a day later, Ballard said. His body was found in a downstairs weight room, his body found hanging from the pulley of a piece of exercise equipment. Ballard said that he had used weights, the pulley and cable to choke himself to death.

The prosecutor said he found it "bizarre" that the WWE wrestling star spread out the killings over a weekend and appeared to remain in the house for up to a day with the bodies. Ballard told ESPN.com that investigators smelled what they ascertained to be decomposing bodies when they entered the home. The varying degrees of decomposition between the bodies helped indicate the staggered times of death.

Toxicology test results may not be available for weeks or even months, he said. As for whether steroids played a role in the crime, he said: "We don't know yet. That's one of the things we'll be looking at."

Steroids have been linked to the deaths of several professional wrestlers in recent years. Eddie Guerrero, one of Benoit's best friends, died in 2005 from heart failure linked to long-term steroid use.

The father of Curt "Mr. Perfect" Hennig blamed steroids and painkillers for Hennig's drug overdose death in 2003. Davey Boy Smith, the "British Bulldog," died in 2002 from heart failure that a coroner said was probably caused by steroids.

The WWE, based in Stamford, Conn., issued a statement Tuesday evening saying steroids "were not and could not be related to the cause of death."

"The physical findings announced by authorities indicate deliberation, not rage," the company said, adding that Benoit tested negative April 10, the last time he was tested for drugs.

Benoit was a quiet, roughhewn figure amid the glitz and bluster of pro wrestling. He performed under his real name, eschewed scripted personas and didn't bother to fix a gap where he had lost one of his front teeth. (According to the WWE Web site, he lost the tooth while roughhousing with his pet Rottweiler.)

His signature move was the "Crippler Crossface," in which he would lock his hands around an opponent's face and stretch his neck.

"You always rooted for him, because he was a good guy and he overcame the odds," said Dave Meltzer, editor of the Wrestling Observer, a weekly news letter. "It's like if you watched 'Rocky,' and in the end it comes out that Rocky killed his wife and his son."

He met his wife in the 1990s when she was married to rival wrestler Kevin Sullivan. As part of the scripted rivalry, Benoit and Nancy were supposed to act as if they were having an affair. A real romance blossomed, and she left Sullivan for Benoit.

Neighbors said the Benoits led a low-key lifestyle.

"We would see Chris walking in his yard from time to time. He wasn't rude, but he wasn't really outwardly warm," said Alaina Jones, who lives across the street.

Jimmy Baswell, who was Benoit's driver for more than five years, placed a white wreath at the Benoits' gate. "They always seemed like they were the happiest people," he said.

WWE said on its Web site that it asked authorities to check on Benoit and his family after being alerted by friends who received "several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning."

The WWE, based in Stamford, Conn., said authorities asked that it not release further information on the deaths.

"WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family's relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy," the company said in a statement on its Web site.

"He was like a family member to me, and everyone in my family is taking it real hard," said fellow Canadian Bret Hart, a five-time champion with the World Wrestling Federation. The federation has since changed its name to World Wrestling Entertainment.

Benoit had maintained a home in Atlanta from the time he wrestled for the defunct World Championship Wrestling. The Fayette County Tax Assessors Office lists the value of the house, on more than 8.5 acres, at nearly $900,000.

The WWE canceled its live "Monday Night RAW" card in Corpus Christi, Texas, after the bodies were discovered.

Monday's show was supposed to be a memorial service for WWE owner Vince McMahon. In a storyline concocted by the WWE, McMahon was supposedly "assassinated" in a limousine explosion two weeks earlier. McMahon appeared at the beginning of Monday's telecast and acknowledged the bombing was made up.

The McMahon storyline has been dropped.

Benoit had two other children from a prior relationship.

Didn't know if i should post this since it includes information already posted on a previous reply.

Talking about the opening of ECW this week, is it true that Vince came out and apologised for the Benoit tribute show, i've read it somewhere but i wasn't sure if it was true. (we don't get ECW here until Thursday)
Bob Ryder from 1wrestling.com is reporting that sources close to Nancy Benoit say she had a safety deposit box with evidence of past rages from Chris Benoit, and if anythng were to happen to her, police should check the box. Ryder also reports that about a year ago Chris became paranoid and thought that he was always being followed and would not let Nancy leave the house. In addition, some friends close to Chris say that he hated religion while others say he recently became religious.

Fact that they were injecting the son growth hormones cause they thought he was too small shows that they're all clearly retarded.

So.. Whos going to take bets that Thompson will link this to video games?

06-27-2007, 04:05 AM
I'm already linking it to videogames.

The reason is out why they were injecting the kid with Human Growth Hormone. Doesn't justify it completely, but it changes things just a little bit.

Benoit's Son May Have Suffered From Fragile X Syndrome
Posted by Ashish on 06.27.2007

Plus a possible explanation for the killings...

More news continues to fly in regarding the Chris Benoit double murder-suicide....

- A woman claiming to have been a friend of the Benoit family told News 1130 in Vancouver that Benoit's son suffered from Fragile X syndrome but that they had decided to keep the disease secret. The following description of Fragile X syndrome is from Wikipedia.

"Aside from intellectual disability (mental retardation), prominent characteristics of the syndrome include an elongated face, large or protruding ears, flat feet, larger testicals in men (macroorchidism), and low muscle tone. Behavioral characteristics may include stereotypic movements (e.g., hand-flapping) and atypical social development, particularly shyness and limited eye contact. Some individuals with the fragile X syndrome also meet the diagnostic criteria for autism. While full mutation males tend to present with severe intellectual disability, the symptomology of full mutation females runs the gamut of minimally affected to severe intellectual disability, which may explain why females are underdiagnosed relative to males."

The woman stated that the disease is very hard for families to deal with because there is not much help and support for it. This may explain why Benoit's son was being injected with human growth hormones. It should be noted that the woman's story and her status as a friend of the Benoit family has not been confirmed by the Associated Press or any other national media outlet.

PWInsider.com and WrestlingObserver.com are reporting that Great Khali will be winning the Battle Royal on tonight's WWE SmackDown! tapings in Laredo. The Battle Royal is designed to crown a new SmackDown! World champion as current champion Edge will be forced to drop the belt due to an injury sustained during last week's WWE SmackDown! show.

Marcus Cor Von is not at the Smackdown/ECW taping and because of that, WWE has been forced to cancel the scheduled Cor Von vs. CM Punk ECW match for tonight.

No word yet on why Cor Von is not at the taping.

At the moment, TNA does not have any kind of drug testing program like the WWE has. Part of the reason Kurt Angle was released was because of his dependency on pain killers. Now, in wake of the Chris Benoit tragedy, wrestlers are becoming concerned about Kurt Angle's use of pain killers.

Wrestlers have reported that after matches Kurt Angle is barely coherent when he speaks because he mumbles so much which could be from the high doses of pain medications Angle consumes. One wrestler said, "something is going to happen to Kurt Angle and this company is going to feel terrible that they didn't do anything."

TNA has had talks with former WWE star Rikishi about reforming part of the former WWE tag team Too Cool. Rikishi would be paired in a team with Brian Christopher, if everything goes through.

The other Too Cool member, Scotty 2 Hotty is also a free agent. He currently lives in Orlando, FL. However, his name hasn't been brought up yet to be a part of the faction.. Christopher's name was specifically mentioned to be paired up with Rikishi

It has been officially confirmed that the main event for this year's edition of Summerslam will pit John Cena and "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton against each other with the WWE Championship on the line.

It is ironic that Orton should receive his long awaited opportunity at the gold at the same event that he won the World Heavyweight Championship in 2004.
PWInsider.com reported Monday that WWE's plan to feature the cast of Jackass in a match at Summerslam has fallen through.

When reports of WWE's plan to run the Jackass storyline first broke, the belief was that the cast would appear in three matches on the Summerslam card. That was later changed to one, presumably involving Umaga.

Things began to look bleaker when Bam Margera pulled out due to an injury; Johnny Knoxville recently backed out as well, which prompted WWE to nix the angle.

The cast had distanced itself from WWE following the Benoit family tragedy—what was originally going to be an angle that featured several television and pay-per-view appearances, including some of the Jackass guys costing Umaga his title at the Great American Bash, was apparently greatly reduced, possibly to the one-time gig at Summerslam.

Now, if reports are true, not even that match will take place.

WWE had already begun advertising the Jackass crossover on its affiliate material for the Summerslam PPV.

Bryan “Crush” Adams Passes Away

08-13-2007, 10:27 PM
Tampa Bay police and fire/rescue workers were dispatched to the home of Brian Adams this morning after receiving a call from his wife, who stated Adams was unresponsive. Upon arrival, rescue members found him on the bed and not breathing. They attempted to revive him but were unable to and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy is expected to be performed on the body tomorrow. Cause of death is still unknown, the incident report says there were “no visible signs of injuries.”

One WWE source says that Adams may have choked on his own vomit.

Current Summerslam Card

1.WWE Championship- John Cena Vs Randy Orton, barring some late change Orton is due to defeat Cena for the WWE Championship, for those who remember he won the World Heavyweight Championship at this PPV 3 years ago, for whoever reads this, which belt do you want Orton to use, the current Spinner Championship, or the traditional WWE Championship (the one Cena defeated JBL at WM21 for), personally i want the traditional championship back.

2.World Heavyweight Championship- The Great Khali Vs Batista- The current plan is for Batista to become the new World Heavyweight Champion and defeat The Great Khali at SummerSlam. If Khali puts on a good show with his match against Batista the feud will continue into Unforgiven PPV. Their possible match at Unforgiven is reported to be a stipulation match.

Batista will remain the champion until Survivor Series or Armageddon and face Edge when he returns. Edge will become the new World Heavyweight Champion and defend his title against the Undertaker at WrestleMania 24 as previously reported.
I found that at lordsofpain.net

3.ECW World Championship- John Morrison Vs CM Punk, my pick is for Punk to win this match.

4.Triple H Vs King Booker, finally "The Game" comes back, it's certainly been a long time, my pick is Triple H to win and after Summerslam to feud with Orton.

5.Rey Mysterio Vs Chavo Guerrero, again another superstar who has been out of action for a while, Mysterio for the win.

6.Intercontinental Championship- Umaga Vs Mr. Kennedy Vs Carlito, no picks here but i think Kennedy will win.

7.Diva's Battle Royal- Diva's from all 3 brands competing for a WWE Woman's Championship title shot.

Personally quite a poor card, no Tag Team/Cruiserweight title match, they should just unify the tag titles.
Many believe that a Ric Flair retirement storyline will be underway in the next few weeks. The storyline would conclude at the Royal Rumble, No Way Out or WrestleMania. As we’ve reported previously, Ric Flair has been talking about this being his last year as an in-ring performer, i doubt it would happen but i think it would be sweet if Flair wins a Heavyweight title before he retires.

Why is Cena still the champ? Is he really still that popular?

08-28-2007, 04:37 PM
Girls and 12 year old boys love him. I've never been a fan. I'm not a fan of Randy Orton either but I wanted him to take the belt just for something different.

08-30-2007, 03:05 AM
Why is Cena still the champ? Is he really still that popular? Apparently Vince felt Orton had gotten so hot, he felt it would be a perfect big win for Cena, i've been reading about Orton getting a rematch at Unforgiven and winning the title there.
If Cena does hold the belt until Unforgiven, if i'm right, that would be a 12 month title reign, he defeated Edge last year in a TLC Match at Unforgiven.
spoilers maybe, from what i've read, CM Punk is once again the No. 1 contender for the ECW World Championship, and Rey Mysterio is the No.1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.

OK it started with this

A big shake up in WWE today.

As of today WWE has suspended 10 of their performers based on information received from investigators in the Albany, NY district attorneys office. The names have not been made public, but these are full suspensions and over the next week, judging from who is and who isn't on TV it may become clear as to who has been suspended.

These suspensions look to be based on proof that performers were using the Signature Pharmacy and or another Internet prescription firms after the implementation of the Wellness policy.

WWE has also announced to their employees that as of November 1st, the company will publicly release the names of anyone who is suspended under drug policy violations.

Credit: Wrestlingobserver.com

Now the names are starting to come out.

Major stars included...

Following WWE's announcement today that they have suspended 10 wrestlers for violating their Wellness Policy, The New York Daily News has put up an article revealing 11 WWE wrestlers who have been identified as customers of Signature Pharmacy in Orlando. Signature Pharmacy was raided by authorities in February for distributing steroids and other drugs to people who had not been examined by doctors.

While WWE has suspended 10 wrestlers for violating the Wellness Policy, they have not announced the specific reason. It is assumed that the 10 wrestlers were suspended due to the discovery of them being customers of Signature Pharmacy, but that is not confirmed. The 11 wrestlers below may include the 10 suspended, but there is no way of knowing that for sure until WWE confirms it or until a few weeks go by and it becomes evident which wrestlers are not appearing on TV.

The 11 wrestlers named in the New York Daily News article are:

- Randy Orton
- Adam Copeland (Edge)
- Charlie Haas
- Robert Huffman (King Booker)
- Shane Helms
- Mike Bucci (Simon Dean)
- Anthony Carelli (Santino Marella)
- John Hennigan (John Morrison)
- Darren Matthews (William Regal)

More details on the huge story...

Dave Meltzer reports that Adam "Edge" Copeland's last reported prescription from Signature Pharmacy came years ago when he was recuperating from neck surgery and that Randy Orton and Shane Helms' last transactions also predated the implementation of WWE's Wellness Policy in February of 2006 and were at times of injury rehabilitation.

WWE was apparently aware months ago of all the wrestlers that were named today being customers of Signature Pharmacy but chose to do nothing about it since many of the wrestlers were customers prior to the WWE Wellness Policy, not after. WWE likely felt pressure to suspend the wrestlers today despite the fact that some of them may not have actually violated the Wellness Policy due to the forthcoming Congressional hearing on steroid use in wrestling as well as the media picking up the story as has happened today. Of course, some of the names may have infact been customers after the WWE Wellness Policy was in place.

Three deceased wrestlers, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, and Brian Adams, were also on the list of names.

It is believed that several other former WWE wrestlers are also on the list.

In an update that calls into question the credibility of WWE Wellness Policy, which bans the purchase of prescription drugs from Internet doctors, Sports Illustrated revealed that numerous wrestlers (many under WWE contract) allegedly received steroids, growth hormone and other prescription drugs via a supposed Florida-based Internet drug network in the past two years.

Chavo Guerrero received somatropin (HGH), nandrolone and anastrozole from April 2005 to May 2006.

Shane Helms received testosterone, genotropin (HGH) and nandrolone from November 2003 to February 2007.

Randy Orton received somatropin, nandrolone, and stanozolol from September 2004 to February 2007.

John Morrison was prescribed somatropin, anastrozole, testosterone, stanozolol and chorionic gonadotropin from June 2006 to February 2007.

Mr. Kennedy received anastrozole, somatropin and testosterone from October 2006 to February 2007.

Funaki received somatropin in March 2006.

Charlie Haas was prescribed nastrozole, somatropin, stanozolol, nandrolone and chorionic gonadotropin from August 2006 to January 2007.

Umaga received somatropin between July and December 2006.

William Regal received stanozolol, somatropin, genotropin, and anastrozole from November 2004 to November 2006.

Edge received somatropin, genotropin (both HGH), and stanozolol from September 2004 and February 2007.

Recently released Sylvan Grenier received somatropin, nandrolone, genotropin and stanozolol from February 2005 to July 2006.

The late Brian Adams, who was not under WWE contract, received nandrolone, testosterone and Somatropin in December 2006.

The late Chris Benoit received nandrolone and anastrozole in February 2006.

Eddie Guerrero received nandrolone, testosterone, and anastrozole two weeks prior to his death in November 2005.

damn... its like everyone is doing them.

Makes me wonder how lucky guys like the Rock, Jericho, Goldberg and Trish Stratus who left the business early are.

I wonder if Brock Lesnar is also pumped up on steroids, sure looks like he was...

Wrestling is dead to me, after the Benoit incident everything has been revealed and I can't watch it anymore.

- Having CM Punk defeat John Morrison for the ECW Title at the ECW On Sci-Fi taping last night seems to be an indication that Morrison is one of the 11 wrestlers that WWE has suspended. Morrison was named in the New York Daily News article as having bought drugs from Signature Pharmacy with his most recent purchase coming in February of 2007.

- WWE has announced that Umaga will be defending the WWE Intercontinental Title against Jeff Hardy at the RAW taping tonight. It is likely that Umaga is one of the 11 suspended wrestlers and thus will likely drop the belt tonight. Umaga was also named in the media reports as a customer of Signature Pharmacy, with his most recent date of purchase being December of 2006.

- Batista worked the Smackdown taping last night and was not only victorious, but also announced as part of the main event for Unforgiven, so it doesn't appear as if he is among the suspended wrestlers. Batista was named as a customer of Signature Pharmacy but only in the ESPN report which did not list the dates of purchase.

- Chavo Guerrero worked the Smackdown taping and lost to Rey Mysterio. It remains to be seen if he is one of the suspended wrestlers, although one would presume he would be since he was named in media reports as a customer of Signature Pharmacy and listed as buying drugs from Signature as recently as May of 2006.

09-02-2007, 04:11 PM
Well, with Batista in the World Title match at Unforgiven i dare say that he will win, i seriously don't see Rey winning, although i could be wrong.
Stephanie McMahon and John Laurinaitis held a meeting prior to the SmackDown/ECW tapings last night in Cincinnati, Ohio. The meeting discussed the new changes to WWE’s Wellness Policy. Below are the major changes:

- The company will begin to test for marijuana shortly. Those who test positive won’t receive a suspension. They will however, receive a fine of, at least, $1000 per violation.

- Along with adding testing for marijuana, WWE will be testing for anti-estrogen drugs, which are commonly used to offset some of the effects of steroid and HGH use. Anyone that tests positive will receive immediate suspensions.

- WWE also announced that any new hires will have to undergo and pass the WWE Wellness test before they are signed to the company.
As we reported early this morning, WWE released Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore.

Eugene was in attendance for the meeting, which was held before ECW/SmackDown tapings last night. He was notified of his release shortly after the meeting and is said to have been escorted from the building.

Eugene was not named in the long list of stars that were customers of the Signature Pharmacy. His release is said to have been due to some sort of a Wellness Policy violation. Dinsmore had been, previously, suspended after violating the Wellness Policy.

Details On Why WWE Released Cryme Tyme
Posted by Ashish on 09.02.2007

Likely not due to Wellness Policy...

As reported earlier, WWE has released Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard and JTG). It doesn't appear as if they were released due to anything relating to the WWE Wellness Policy.

The team was involved in an incident at the RAW house show in Terra Haute, Indiana. During their match with Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch, the finish saw a strange countout even though JTG was back in the ring. After the match, Cryme Tyme attacked the ref and removed his belt, then pretending to auction it off to the audience. Something relating to this finish did not sit well with WWE management and the team had a lot of heat on them today at the RAW taping prior to being released.

PWInsider.com reported that a talent meeting was held at the WWE SmackDown/ECW tapings in which officials addressed the recent steroid controversy. Its details on the report are highlighted below:

Stephanie McMahon reportedly told talent that thirteen wrestlers were suspended for their link to online pharmacies and two were suspended for drug test failures. WWE had only publicly announced eleven suspensions; it remains unknown whether Stephanie made a mistake or if there are more suspensions to be announced.

Stephanie also said that Vince McMahon is looking forward to the chance to testify at the expected Congressional hearings on pro wrestling.

During the meeting, Batista expressed frustration with the fact that a number of media outlets connected him to Signature Pharmacy. The wrestler, who claims he has never dealt with that business, supposedly asked Stephanie if he had any legal course of action against the outlets, including ESPN, that linked him to the online drug ring.

Triple H concluded the meeting with a motivational speech about how the wrestlers, who are living their dream job, need to come together to work through the current controversy.

Breaking WWE news, Ric Flair has apparently quit, lordsofpain say he quit because he wasn't getting enough of a push.

09-05-2007, 04:25 AM
Good, he's washed up. They need to stop living in the past and give their new faces a chance to shine. However, most of their new faces are boring on the mike and in the ring, and their current (soap opera) writers suck.

09-05-2007, 11:22 AM
They're already offering him a big push to return (maybe even another world title reign?) Because they don't want him showing up on TNA. TNA is about to go to 2 hours in the Fall and they're trying to get Flair to come as well as Brock Lesnar.

Concussions Look to be the Cause of Benoit’s Rage
Posted by Larry Csonka on 09.05.2007

The tests are complete, and very revealing.

According to wsbtv.com out of Atlanta, the test results on Chris Benoit's brain suggest that a series of concussions may have caused the rage that led him to murder his wife, his son and commit suicide.

In the article, Dr. Julian Bailes, head of neurosurgery at WVU, said the results of tests on Chris Benoit's brain were striking. Showing a slide of Benoit's brain tissue Wednesday morning on ABC's Good Morning America Bailes pointed out what he called abnormalities. "These are dead brain cells," said Bailes.

When asked how much of that he found Bailes replied, "It was extensive, throughout Chris's brain. It was striking and maybe shocking in the extent." The researcher said Benoit's brain scan looked similar to those of Alzheimer's patients. He described Benoit's brain as "very abnormal, something you should never see in a 40-year old."

Bailes has done similar research on the brains of former professional football players who committed suicide. He found similar brain damage in their cases; theroizes that repeated concussions can lead to dementia, which can contribute to severe behavioral problems. He goes onto say that a pattern emerges, "a recurring theme of failure in their personal lives and their business lives, depression and then ultimate suicide."

You can see another article on this at ABCNews.go.com.

They said his brain was like that of an 85 year old alzheimer patient. It was those flying heatbutts he did those are nuts. It's still horrible what he did but at least it's confirmed he was not in his right mind at all.

The Associated Press released the following article this morning:

Autopsy In For WWE's Sherri Martel

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Tuscaloosa homicide investigators say WWE Hall of Famer Sherri Martel had multiple drugs in her system when she died, including a high amount of oxycodone.

A homicide spokesperson said her June death in McCalla was ruled an accident.

Martel, who was 49, was inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame last year and won championship titles in the American Wrestling Association and World Wrestling Federation.

At the time of her death, Captain Loyd Baker of the Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit had said foul play isn't suspected, but that Martel didn't die of natural causes.

Once again, cause of death- Drugs :thumb-dn:

Vince McMahon held onto Brock Lesnar's US contract and wouldn't give him a proper release until it expired (which I believe it did or will shortly) so he'll be able to wrestle in the US again. It just comes to show how much of a bastard Vince can be. Not that I think very highly of Brock but he is admittedly a big draw.

source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the confirmed 30-day suspensions include Charlie Haas, Edge, Gregory Helms, John Morrison, William Regal, Mr. Kennedy, Umaga, Funaki, Chavo Guerrero.

Chris Masters was also suspended, but it is unclear at the moment whether his suspension was for 30 days or 60 days. In May 2006, he went to rehab for a painkiller problem. It is unknown if he actually failed a Wellness test, or if it was based on a company decision that he needed rehab for painkillers and they didn't count it as a strike against him.

Robert Huffman aka King Booker was also suspended. He is currently serving a 60-day suspension. The reason for the 60-day suspension is because it is believed that he recently failed a test in addition to receiving packages of steroids according to federal prosecutors, so that's two strikes against him. Booker quit the company upon being informed of his suspension. The company was hoping that he'd reconsider, but they were going under the impression that he was finished with the company.

Edge and Helms, both out of action due to injuries, will lose 30 days of their downside guarantee pay.

WWE Unforgiven Card

WWE Championship- John Cena Vs Randy Orton, once again barring some late change i see Orton leaving Unforgiven the new WWE Champion.

World Heavyweight Championship- The Great Khali Vs Rey Mysterio Vs Batista, I like Rey but i don't want him as the Champion- so Batista to win.

Undertaker Vs Mark Henry.

Triple H Vs Carlito, like last month, Triple H to win and then rejoin the title picture, although i wouldn't mind seeing him back on Smackdown and feuding with Batista for the WHC- wishful thinking at best i think.

ECW Championship- CM Punk Vs Elijah Burke, from the stuff i've read online, Punk is going to hold onto the belt until Morrison come's back from suspension, then drops the belt back to him.

Woman's Championship- Candice Michelle Vs Beth Phoenix.

World Tag Team Championship- Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch Vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick.

WWE Tag Team Championship- Matt Hardy & M.V.P Vs Deuce & Domino.

No IC title match yet, and of course M.V.P is the current U.S. Champion.
Now that's finished, I personally think there are too many title's in the WWE, 9 titles over 3 brands, what i think they should do is unify the IC/U.S, and the WWE/World Tag Team Titles, whichever one they decide to keep make it tri-branded, keep the WWE, World and ECW Heavyweight titles as they are, and finally make the Woman's title tri-branded as well, next get rid of the Cruiserweight title and bring back the Hardcore title as another tri-branded one, that takes it down to 6, 3 which are defended by their own brands, and the other 3 defended over all 3 brands, that way there are more contenders for each belt, and bring back the 24-7 rule for the Hardcore title, man i miss those days, maybe i'm just wasting my time typing this up, but no matter.
I made a mistake in my last post, there would be 7 belts not 6.

an addition to the Triple H/Carlito match at Unforgiven, it's a no DQ match for Carlito, whereas it's normal rules for Triple H.

Backstage Coach was having a go at Cena's father and made the WWE Championship match for No Mercy a Last Man Standing Match, actually the way the rivalry was going i wanted them to have the match at No Mercy in Hell in a Cell, oh well, more wishful thinking.

John Cena Update: Out 6-8 Months, Stripped of WWE Title
Posted by Larry Csonka on 10.02.2007

A huge blow for WWE.

From WWE.com: BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – WWE Champion John Cena has suffered a complete tear of his right pectoral tendon and is heading into surgery, according to noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Because of the seriousness of the injury, WWE officials will not allow Cena to compete this Sunday at No Mercy, and he will have no choice but to surrender the title.

Dr. Andrews said Cena could miss between six and eight months of action. Cena was injured during his match with Mr. Kennedy Monday night on Raw. According to WWE physician Dr. Ferdinand Rios, Cena's injury was more serious than initially thought.

"He has a complete tear of his pectoralus major muscle," Rios said. "Because he's so big, [the tendon tear] is behind the muscle. It was hard to diagnose."

Rios said Cena will be hospitalized for a few days to learn the rehabilitation procedure he must undergo. His arm will be immobilized for a week and then therapists may allow him to start moving it so that the arm doesn't become stiff.

Rios said that Cena is so dedicated to WWE that he wouldn't be surprised to see him return sooner than later.

"I suspect that John might be able to come back sooner [than most people with this injury], as he'll train vigorously," Rios said.

Before visiting Dr. Andrews, Cena had said last night, "No matter how serious the injury, one way or another I'll be ready to compete on Sunday."

But despite Cena's vow, WWE officials will not allow him to compete at No Mercy. Therefore, he must surrender the WWE Championship.

WWE officials vow that there will be a WWE Championship Match this Sunday at No Mercy and a new WWE Champion will be crowned.

Stay with WWE.com for further updates on Cena's condition and on No Mercy as they become available.

I'm actually pretty happy about this. Someone else can have a chance with the belt. Never was a Cena fan.

Since one of the above posts said that Jericho is returning on Oct. 7th, it'd be perfect to have him "win" the belt. He'll draw in more viewers than Orton will as champ.

I agree, it would be great if Jericho came back at No Mercy and won the WWE Championship, and i would rather have him as champion instead of Orton.

The Elimination Chamber is being brought back for the No Way Out pay-per-view in February. The storyline heading into WrestleMania is that the winner of the Royal Rumble will get to decide the champion he wants to face at WrestleMania. Then, the unselected champion will have its brand's top wrestlers go into an the Elimination Chamber. The winner of that match will get the other title shot at WrestleMania.

I was thinking about the Elimination Chamber this morning and how i would set the match up, for me it would be Randy Orton Vs Chris Jericho Vs Shawn Michaels Vs Mr. Kennedy Vs Triple H Vs Umaga.
I chose these participants because if you seperate it into singles matches you have every rivalry currently on Raw, well Orton Vs Jericho is going to happen soon enough, Michaels Vs Kennedy started on Raw last week, and Triple H Vs Umaga has been going on for a while now.

12-12-2007, 04:44 AM
WWE Championship- Randy Orton Vs Chris Jericho, Y2J's first title shot since he came back, while i would like to see him win the belt i feel that it is too soon for it to happen, plus i have read rumours that Triple H is going to be the one to beat Orton for the title and going on to WM24 against Batista.

Triple Threat for the World Heavyweight Championship- Batista Vs Undertaker Vs Edge, going by the last thing that i typed it is likely that Batista is going to lose, my pick in this match is Edge.

Triple H vs Jeff Hardy, with the winner of this match recieving a WWE Championship match at the Royal Rumble it is pretty clear that Triple H is going to defeat Jeff, still i pick Jeff Hardy to win this match.

CM Punk & Kane Vs Big Daddy Vs & Mark Henry, my pick is CM Punk & Kane, but after the match Kane attacking Punk setting up a feud between them.

Shawn Michaels Vs Mr. Kennedy, this should be a good match, i want shawn to win but i think Kennedy will win, i don't think it would hurt HBK to put over the younger guy.

Finlay vs The Great Khali, i guess the obvious choice would be Khali to win, but i pick Finlay to somehow win.

Woman's Championship- Beth Phoenix Vs Mickie James, don't really care for Diva's matches, so my pick is Mickie.

U.S Championship- M.V.P Vs Rey Mysterio, straight to the point, Mysterio to finally take the U.S Championship away from M.V.P
New World Tag Team Champions- Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly.

12-17-2007, 02:33 AM
WWE U.S Championship
1.Rey Mysterio defeated M.V.P by Countout.

2.Big Daddy V & Mark Henry defeated CM Punk & Kane.

3.Shawn Michaels defeated Mr. Kennedy by Pin.

Winner gets a WWE Championship Match at the Royal Rumble
4.Jeff Hardy defeated Triple H by Pin, wow this was a surprise, it was a great match overall, see from now on if Hardy loses the IC title, because if he does it'll be pretty likely that he will beat Orton for the WWE Championship.

5.Finlay defeated The Great Khali by Pin.

WWE Championship
6.Chris Jericho defeated Randy Orton by DQ, near the end of the match Orton threw Jericho over the Smackdown Commentary Table onto JBL, when going back to Orton Jericho shoved JBL out of the way, back in the ring Orton tried to kick Jericho's head, he reversed it and put Orton in the Walls of Jericho, JBL then entered the ring and kicked Jericho's head causing the DQ.

WWE Woman's Championship
7.Beth Phoenix defeated Mickie James by Pin.

Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
8.Edge defeated Batista and Undertaker to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Not too bad 4 right picks from 8 Matches.

Next PPV- Royal Rumble, 27th of January 2008 from Madison Square Garden.
It appears as though that JBL is returning as a full-time wrestler. There has been talk for several weeks of JBL giving up his announcing spot on SmackDown. Television producer Kevin Dunn has been auditioning people with Michael Cole to find him a new announcing partner.
They should put Cole and Tazz back together.

Too bad the Lion Tamer looks more like a lame Boston Crab now. I wonder if wrestlers were getting injured with the original move.

Lion Tamer? do you mean the Walls of Jericho?, if so i think that is how he has always done it, well as long as i have seen him use it anyway.

The one on the NY/Connecticut boarder is.

Isn't that the WWE HQ in Stamford?

I just checked Google about the one in NYC, it used to be called "The World", going by that it was closed down in 2003.

Last night on ECW on Sci-Fi, Chavo Guererro defeated CM Punk to win the ECW World Championship. Right before the match started, it was announced there would be no disqualifications. World Heavyweight Champion Edge did commentary for the match. As CM Punk gave Chavo his "Go To Sleep" finisher, Edge ran into the ring and speared Punk. Chavo covered him and got the 3 count.
Bobby Lashley Update: He's Gone From WWE, Training for MMA Career
After breaking the news earlier this morning that Bobby Lashley is gone from World Wrestling Entertainment, there are new details to report regarding this developing story.

In a phone call placed this afternoon to internet wrestling journalist Ryan Gray of WrestlingNewsWorld.com, Bobby Lashley confirmed that is gone from the company. While Lashley would not give any specifics, he made it clear that he did not want to leave but had to because of circumstances beyond his control.

Lashley told Gray that he was training hard for a potential career in Mixed Martial Arts. The former ECW Champion said that despite the fact that he wanted to pursue an MMA career, it would not be with UFC.

Lashley would not comment on whether or not he would be interested in going to TNA Wrestling. He said that WWE has granted his release but it would not be announced until the paperwork was finalized.
WWE News: New Details On Why Bobby Lashley Is Leaving WWE
We've been covering the story here all day that Bobby Lashley is leaving World Wrestling Entertainment. New details have come out regarding why Lashley is leaving:

One of the factors that lead to his fallout with WWE has to do with the way his girlfriend Kristal Marshall was treated after refusing to do a storyline that made her feel uncomfortable. She was fired after refusing a storyline that's been described as "racial".

Another reason is that Lashley feels disrespected by WWE during his time off. There has been very little communication between Lashley and Vince McMahon in the past few months. Despite the fact that Lashley is fully healed from his injury, there were no firm plans in place to get him back on TV. He found this very frustrating.

At this point, Lashley needs to negotiate an official release from WWE as he is still under contract. He is still listed on the official WWE website and is awaiting his release so he can move on.

OMG.... John Cena

anyways, I bought the 15 years of Raw, 3 DVD set the other day, not bad, they had all the cool moments in full, like the Brian Pillman-Austin segment, Vince-Austin in the Hospital, DX doing the Nation of Domination skit.

Overall the DVD has 9 hours of footage.

As for matches, some of them are Razor vs 123 Kid, 123 kid vs Bret hart, some weird match with Oven vs Shawn, where HBK faints for some reason, but they don't explain what happened, Shawn and Kurt 30 minute Iron man match, Edge-Cena-RVD triple threat title, Shawn vs Edge Street Fight, but sadly they were missing the Bishows TLC tag team match, and where Kurt Angle does a moonsault of the cage (but thats probably because of benoit)

I'm waiting for that DVD, it comes out here next month.
For the Owen Hart/HBK match did Shawn faint after a Enzugiri kick from Owen?, I read something it that in Shawn's book.

RVD was in a triple threat title match? How old is that match?
I haven't watched in years, but I'd like to get some info on that match as 4:20 was my favorite wreslter for years.

01-29-2008, 01:16 PM
It was when he got caught doing weed I think, the creative team had to strip the title from him, so they made this match, John Cena vs Edge vs RVD
the date is 7/03/06

The DVD also has the awesome HBK vs Shelton Benjamin match, where he gets a giant super kick to the face, Undertaker vs Mankind no holds barred, Marty Jennety vs HBK for the IC title.

01-31-2008, 04:21 AM
WWE Championship- Randy Orton Vs John Cena.
World Heavyweight Championship- Edge Vs Rey Mysterio.
Raw Elimination Chamber Match- Triple H vs Shawn Michaels Vs Jeff Hardy Vs JBL Vs Umaga Vs Chris Jericho.
Smackdown Elimination Chamber Match- Big Daddy V Vs The Great Khali Vs Finlay Vs MVP Vs Undertaker Vs Batista.
Career-Threatening Match- Ric Flair Vs Mr. Kennedy.

2 Chamber matches in the one PPV, I would have prefered 1 cross brand Chamber Match.

The McMahon/Finlay/Hornswoggle program should be continuing through at least WrestleMania. There has been talks doing something between Vince & Finlay at WrestleMania. Mick Foley may also come into play in McMahon's Mania plans. There have also been talks of Vince vs. Foley, Foley vs. Shane McMahon, or Finlay & Foley vs. Vince & Shane.
The feud between Matt Hardy and MVP will resume when Hardy is cleared is to wrestle again, which should be very soon. WWE's plan is to cultimate the feud at WrestleMania with a U.S. title match.
In a weird twist, the WWE is actually acknowledging former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar by posting a poll on WWE.com asking if fans think he will win his UFC fight with Frank Mir this weekend.
I found a link that shows what is on the Raw 15th Anniversary DVD, just scroll down after the page loads.

After watching th Raw 15 anniv, I got say way too many weird skits, and I don't think they needed so many, like the segment "Shawn Loses His Smile" where he gives his title away because of an injury, its like 7 minutes long and really boring, or Tubby H's debut in 2002, while nice little fight with Angle, they could of shortened his long ass intro it and put a better match.

If I remember correctly, when WWE went to japan in 2006, they had good matches there, like Triple H vs Edge, which could of easily replaced Eugenes musical chairs or Jericho's firing.

Another good moment was somewhere in 2005, when HBK became a heel for one night in Montreal, the fans hated him, awesome promo, here are the youtube links:

WWE.com has just issued the following announcement on their official website:

In accordance with its Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy, WWE has suspended Jeff Hardy for 60 days, for his second violation of the company’s policy.

It should be noted that one more violation of WWE's Wellness policy will result in Jeff Hardy's manditory release from the company.

Jeff has been removed from the Wrestlemania preview on WWE.com and will not be participating in the Money In The Bank match at the event.

Several WWE stars were informed of the suspension backstage at RAW last night. Hardy dropped the Intercontinental title to Chris Jericho on the show.

This is certainly a tough break for the rainbow-haired warrior, who was in the midst of the biggest singles push of his career. Hardy's previous issues with substance abuse and fears that he could relapse were factors in the company not going "all the way" with his push and awarding him with a WWE title win.

Excuse the language, but what a fucking idiot, he has just thrown away everything he had achieved in the last couple of months, being in main event matches, being a contender for the WWE Championship, and now he is out of the MITB match at Wrestlemania.
Current Wrestlemania 24 Card
WWE Championship- Randy Orton Vs John Cena Vs Triple H.

Nearly forgot about this thread. Anyway, the Lion Tamer was his finisher in WCW. Shortly after he came to WWE, Jericho gave it a new name and revised it into a Boston Crab. He submits Raven using it at the end of the video.

Latest Details On Jeff Hardy's House Burning Down
Posted by Ashish on 03.16.2008

Authorities say cause of fire is "undetermined"....

TMZ.com has posted the following update on Jeff Hardy's house burning down.

TMZ just spoke to Captain Bruner of the Cameron Fire Department -- and he told us the Moore County Fire Department has ruled the cause of the fire that claimed wrestler Jeff Hardy's home as "undetermined."

Bruner said around 11:30 PM the blaze was "paged out as a wildfire" -- because the citizens that made the call only saw the fire through some woods. Three minutes later another call was made -- this time specifically naming the Hardy residence as the location of the fire.

When firemen arrived at the scene, Hardy's home was "fully engulfed." Because the home was "burnt so bad," the Moore County Fire officials investigating the blaze ruled it "undetermined."

Foul play on the part of Jeff Hardy is not being investigated -- because Jeff Hardy told Captain Bruner that he didn't have insurance on his home.
