Japanese developer MediaKite in association with NDCube recently released the first screens from its upcoming GameCube title Pool Edge. Scheduled for release on October 25 in Japan, the game will reportedly boast a number of unique features. According to MediaKite representatives, the game will feature a special novice mode which will teach young players the basics of billiards. For more advanced players, a dynasty style mode will be included wherein players can track their performance over season seasons. Other special features such as spoken dialogue among players are scheduled to be included as well. Below are several screens from a near-complete version. For reference, Nintendo subsidiary NDCube, most recently known for its work on the GameBoy Advance version of F-Zero, has reportedly leant development expertise and funding to the project.
