sheesh patience son!!

If you're hell bent on getting an ATI, I'd recommend this one..

X800 is better then the X700 pro, and you can double it up with a second X800 of the exact model to get a huge performance boost with SLI boards since this isnt an AGP card. I'd definately ask the people about this card and make sure you can do that and if it isnt listed correctly because thats fairly cheap.

My first question is:

What port do you have?
An AGP Port
Or a PCI Express x16 port.

If ur MoBo wasnt bought in the last year, im pretty sure u have an AGP port, and u should get the first one. Let me recomend u get the 9800XT (256mb) AGP card over the 9800pro. Much better.

If u are using a PCI Express MoBo, then i agree with alucard and u should get the X800XT. If thats too expensive, try the X800XL (cheaper). Also i have been hearing really good things about the X850 cards, and if u have the cash, i definetly think its may be worth considering over the X800's. Though they are about 500-700 each. Up to you.

bleah. If you're happy with PSP graphics then go buy yourself a simple ATI 9600. Got zero patience for people who would spend twice as much that a very good card would cost them on a handheld to play mostly rehashed games instead of getting a decent video card to play stuff you wont find anywhere else.

Yeah Alucard is right.
At the most id recomend a simple 9800 128mb card for around $180.
If ur not into computers enough to make sacrifices then dont go for the big-stuff.
If u feal up to it, go for a 9800XT 256mb card for about $290.
I dont recomend going any higher then that for you.
