The first one is the best because Nintendo wasn't aware of the horror they were going to unleash apon the world

They're all pretty equal. I do like parts 5 and 6 the best based on how you use items.
The microphone in part 6 works fairly well. There is a small lag between the time you speak a command and the time it's actually executed in the game but other than that it works pretty good.

Can you turn off the microphone in part 6? if I want to play only non-microphone games...

Yes, there is an option to turn off voice games.

Mario Party 5 has 74 mini games all together

Mario Party 6 has 83 mini games all together. 5 of these are microphone minigames. So if you turn off the mic mini games you will still have 78 mini games which is 4 more than MP 5

Mario Party just hasn't been the same since they fucked up the Craine Game and Grab Bag.

All the Mario Party are basically the same. I played the first one all the way to the one on Gamecube. They suck. It's a board game. The only good one is the first one I really liked but then, just so they could make money they just make like 5 other ones and all they do is put new minigames and call it a sequal.

Sorta like the Madden series. 2004. 2005. 2006...etc

ok, so which one should I buy 4,5 or 6(not going to play microphone games)?
Looking for the fastest to pick up and play, sorta like fuzion frenzy on the xbox.
