Here are some new images of Square Enix's Final Fantasy Versus XIII for PS3.

Nomura revealed some new tidbits:

• One of the cities in the game is modeled after Shinjuku
• The game uses real physics calculation for cloud effects
• The game has an open world environment, you can go anywhere with the exception for the mountain areas
• The battles will be seamless, but except some loading when you enter certain large areas
• The objects you found in the field are fully destructible
• The quality of the combat scene is so high that you won't believe it when you see it the first time
• The screen shots you see in magazine were captured in realtime on the PS3 hardware
