- Capcom released more info on its PSP title Monster Hunter Nikki: Poka Poka Airu Mura.
- Gameplay is a mix of Animal Crossing and a bit of Monster Hunter
- You play as an Airu (cat) in the Airu Village, you can choose the fur color of your Airu
- The village was built by the Airus, inspired by the Monster Hunter village
- Your goal is to attract more and more Airus to stay in the village
- As more Airus join the village, it will have more facilities and eventually evolve to a town
- New Airus will live together in houses, each have unique personalities
- There will be guilds in the village, you can accept quests from the guild you like
- The quests are not limited to monster hunting, there are many variety like bringing back new Airu members, collect material, etc
- Airus have different jobs and responsibilities, like hunters, musicians, cleaners, fishers, etc.
- The game focuses on living the life in the Airu village, hunting is only a part of the game
- However hunting is still an important part of the game, as you can bring back new material which can be used to make new facilities
- Airus are not monster hunters, so they go hunting in groups. You have to find a balance and bring different types of Airus to the quests
- You can import the Otomo Airu from your Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G game saves
- There will be Airu designs from users, currently Capcom is accepting user designs in its web site
- The game is currently 40% completed
- (This game seems to be a natural fit for Sony's mascot Toro from Doko Demo Issyo, don't be surprised if you see Toro in the game)
