Square Enix announced Hikari no Yon Senshi: Final Fantasy Gaiden [Four Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy Gaiden] for Nintendo DS, an all new traditional turn based RPG following the the root of Final Fantasy. The game will have four person party, the protagonist is a 14 year old boy who is set to rescue Princess Sara from Garland, who was kidnapped by a witch. There will be no MP gauge in the game, which seems to be replaced by a charge command.
The game will be in full 3D, equipment change will result in appearance chanage of the characters. Hikari no Yon Senshi: Final Fantasy Gaiden is slated for a fall 2009 release in Japan.
