Sony revealed some additional info about the new portable system PSP Go in Japan.
- PSP Go will launch in Japan on November 1, 2009, for 26800 yen, one month later than North America.
- PSP Go has been developed for 2 years.
- A PS3 Sixaxis or DualShock 3 controller can be used to play PSP games, but the L2/R2/L3/R3 buttons and the right analog stick will not work for the obvious reasons.
- PSP Go supports game suspension function. You can suspend the game, bring up the XMB and use other functions; and even turn off the system. Later on you can resume the game from where you left off.
- Unlike traditional sleep function, this does not consume battery
- In XMB, you can press L & R to call the built-in Clock funtion.
- The average PSP game size is about 600 - 800 MB right now, the PSP Go's 16GB flash memory can hold about 17 - 18 games.
- You can use Bluetooth wireless headset with PSP Go.
- PSP Go will come with a media manager called Media Go, which allows you to manage your PSP Go software on PC.
- A new service SensMe Channels will launch this fall, which automatically catalog your music
