| Sega released official info on Tri-Ace's new RPG End of
Eternity, which will be heading to PS3 and Xbox 360 in Japan this winter. The
story takes place in the future Earth, due to various negative factors like toxic
atmospheric deposition, distorted earth axis and chaotic ecosystem, the planet is facing a
destruction crisis.
To survive, remnants of human built a huge mechanical device called Basel, which is
fully automated to provide human needs, and people live underground around the Basel.
The three protagonists are Zephry, Vashyron and Subject #20.
Zephry is a 17 year old boy who grew up in the orphanage. He met with
Vashyron many years ago, at the time Vashyron was shot but miraclely survived. Now Zephry
and Vashyron work for the PMF (Private Military Firm).
Vashyron is a 26 year old veteran, who works for PMF. When he was a
soldier, he was sent to suppress an insurrection, and he was one of the few survivors in the
incidient.
Subject #20 is a 19 year old girl who was an experimental subject in a
research institute since birth. In the experiment the test subject would die at the age of
20, so she decided to escape from the institute, and confront to her destiny.
