| Here are some new images of Armco / Tales Studio's PS2 exclusive RPG Tales
of the Abyss, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Tales series. The story takes place in a world
where people discovered the Seventh Phoneme and identified the existence of the planet's memory which record the birth and death of
the planet. In the past a great war caused damages to the planet and created poisonous gas. People listened to
the prophecy of Urea Juei and sealed
the gas inside the planet to avoid destruction of the planet. 2000 years later the world is divided between Kingdom
Kimraska Ranbaldia and Markuto Empire; people followed the prophecies of Urea , which is now knowned as the Scores of Rolerai Cult.
The first protagonist is
Luke Fone Fabre, the only son of the duke of Kimraska Ranbaldia Kingdom, who is 17. He has been kidnapped when he was a child, with a shocking
memory he was locked up inside the house ever since. As a result he is ignorant of the world and selfishness, his
only hobby is training with sword.
The second protagonist is Tear, a 16 year old female officer of Rolerai Cult, a loyal retainer of the Seventh Phoneme.
She has the ability to use the power of the phoneme. She was adopted by Rolerai Cult
when her parents died many years ago, she was raised as a soldier. She is taciturn and cold, but she is passionate
to cute things. In a certain incident, she met with Luke and started traveling together.
