- Idea Factory announced Agarest Senki 2 [Record of Agarest War 2] for PS3, the sequel of the popular strategy RPG, which will hit Japan in fall 2010.
- Acquire announced Ken to Mahou to Gakuenmono 3 [Class of Heroes 3] for PSP and PlayStation 3, the game will be released in Japan in September 2010. It is uncertain whether both versions will have some sort of link-up features.
- Sega announced its mobster action adventure game Yakuza 4 [Ryuga Gotoku 4] will be coming to North America and Europe in spring 2011.
- Here are some new images of Sony and Sucker Punch's Infamous 2 for PS3.
- Feel Plus (creator of Lost Odyssey) and Square Enix annnounced a new Xbox Live Arcade action game called Moon Diver, the game will have acrobatic action and support 4 players online.
- Konami announced Otomedeus X for Xbox 360, the sequel to last year's popular horizontal arcade shooter Otomedues G. The game is currently 25% completed, and will be coming in fall 2010.

- Taito will bring the shooting game Space Invaders Infinity Gene to XBLA and PSN sometimes this year, the game will be in 3D and featuring new "bullet hell" stages.
- Here are some new images of Tecmo Koei's Troy Musou [Warriors: Legend of Troy] for PS3 and Xbox 360, the most noticable difference from the other Musou games is that there will be a lot of blood and violence in the battles.
- Take Two announced its western action game Red Dead Redemption have sold over 5 million copies worldwide since its launch on May 18 (NA) and May 21 (EU). The company also announced Grand Theft Auto IV have sold over 17 million copies worldwide for PS3/360/PC.
- Take Two also noted that the development of May Payne 3 has been stalled and currently has no release date.
- Tetsuya Nomura mentioned that a new Kingdom Hearts title will be revealed at E3.
- Valhalla Game Studios's Tomonobu Itagaki (former Dead or Alive producer) said his first game will be revealed at E3.
- Entertainment Software Association expects that 41k - 45k visitors will attend this year's E3 between June 15 - 17. Last year there were around 41,000 industry representatives attended the game fair.
- Capcom has released Challengers Pack 2 for Super Street Fighter IV, which includes new costumes for Yuri, Ibuki, Cody, Adon and T.Hawk. The pack can be purchased on XBL (320 MS Points) and PSN (400 yen).
- Marvelous Entertainment announced a set of financial restructuring to rescue the company after a series of unsuccessful original titles like No More Heroes and Little King's Story. Marvelous will focus on creating successors of popular series like Harvest Moon and Rune Factory, as well as expanding into browser games. The European subsidiary will be sold and they will no longer sell games themselves.
- Respawn Entertainment, the company found by ex-Infinity Ward staffs, will make an announcement at E3.
- Ubisoft has officially announced Driver for PS3 and Xbox 360, the latest work of the series.
- Ninja Theory released an E3 2010 trailer of its action game Enslaved: Journey to the West for PS3 and Xbox 360.
- Capcom announced its E3 2010 lineup, and there will be a few surprises at the show.

- Square Enix announced Dungeon Siege 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360, the game will be produced by Gas Powered Games and producer Chris Taylor will oversee the project. The game will support 4 player co-operate play.
- Square Enix and Kojima Productions will be working on a new collaboration project, details will be revealed soon. The two companies have already worked together on a few things, such as MGS Peace Walker figurines and having Front Mission character/objects in MGS Peace Walker.
- Capcom CEO Haruhiro Tsujimoto mentioned that something new for the Biohazard / Resident Evil series will be revealed in September 2010, at the same time when the new Hollywood movie Resident Evil Afterlife featuring Milla Jovovich launches.

- Nippon Ichi announced Blue Roses for PSP, a new adventure game co-developed by Nippon Ichi, Flight Plan and Apollo Software. More details of the game will be revealed soon.
